The Q Awards 2011

U2 were honored at the Q Awards yesterday as the greatest act of the past quarter of a century. The star studded event, produced by Eyeframe Events and held at the Grosvenor house Hotel in London, was a resounding success and has already been heralded as “the best Q Awards Ever!”

U2 were chosen by readers of the music magazine as the top artists of the past 25 years at its annual awards, and Adele was a double winner at the event, landing the prizes for best female and best track for her hit Rolling In The Deep...

The future of home entertainment revealed at Insight 360

Working with the British Video Association and The Industry Trust, Eyeframe|Events produced this fascinating event investigating what the future holds for how we access movies, music and TV.

The event, held in the spectacular Altitude 360 venue at the top of Millbank Tower in London, was attended by all of the major players from across the home entertainment sector, and featured presentations and demonstrations of many of the new technology and services that will be the future of how we consume content.

Eyeframe|Events hit the right note at the Nordoff Robbins 02 Silver Clef Awards

The biggest stars in the music industry were out in force on the 1st July for the glittering 02 Silver Clef Awards, produced and managed by Eyeframe|Events.

The ceremony, which took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane, was a truly spectacular event featuring a some of the hottest names in music from around the globe. Award winners at the event including Tinie Tempah (pictured), Arcade Fire, Biffy Clyro, Mcfly and Status Quo. The legendary Annie Lennox was awarded with the O2 Silver Clef Award, whilst the fabulous Liza Minnelli was awarded with the Investec Icon Award.

Dubbs|Eyeframe Highly Commended at BVA Awards

Restoration Feature in Televisual Magazine

The restoration of five art house classics from Russian filmmakers Andrei Tarkovsky was the brief for Dubbs|Eyeframe, which was tasked with bringing them all up to a consistent level of quality under the supervision of Artificial Eye’s Richard Mortiboys. The five films included Ivan's Childhood, Mirror, Stalker, Solaris and Andrei Rublev – some in better condition than others.

The King's Speech DVD and Blu-ray Produced at Dubbs|Eyeframe

We are proud to have completed the DVD and Blu-ray Authoring for Momentum's storming success, The King's Speech. In addition to authoring we filmed and produced one of the interviews included on the disc as a special feature.

Since its release on 9th May it is on target to become one of the fastest and biggest selling period films in video history.

HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo said, “You sometimes get a film that really connects with the public in an unprecedented way, and we’re certainly seeing exceptional interest in ‘The King’s Speech’.”

Dubbs-Eyeframe welcome Robbie back to Take That

Dubbs-Eyeframe have just completed full DVD and Blu-ray authoring for the new feature length documentary “Look Back, Don’t Stare” the story the return of Robbie Williams to boy-band Take That. This unflinching documentary shows the band as they have never been seen before, and the DVD and Blu-ray release includes a wealth of bonus material making it an essential purchase for fans of the band past and present.

Rose d'Or International Television Award Nominations

Two films produced by the Ballet Boyz and edited at Dubbs-Eyeframe ("The Rite of Spring" & "Royal Ballet in Cuba") have just been nominated in multiple categories for Rose d'Or International Television awards. Also nominated was ‘La La Land’ which was re-versioned at Dubbs-Eyeframe for a UK audience. The ceremony takes place in Switzerland in October.

Dubbs-Eyeframe win again at the BVA Awards 2010

Dubbs-Eyeframe has won the coveted BVA Award for Best British Authored DVD for Eagle Rock’s title: “Monty Python – Almost the Truth: The Lawyers Cut”. Dubbs-Eyeframe were also proud to have three other titles shortlisted for the Best British Blu-ray Category making us the most nominated authoring facility of the year.
